Addresses the joint U.S. Army and Marine challenge to improve the fragmentation performance of Enhanced Combat Helmets (ECH). Dyneema^® HB80 represents a tremendous step forward in creating armor for soldiers, vehicles and law enforcement that addresses tomorrow's enhanced threats.
Initially, known as Prototype Dyneema^® X31, the material has undergone extensive ballistic and secondary property testing and promises to significantly "lighten the load" - providing greater comfort and mobility for the men and women who wear it.
