Dyneema^® production

Dyneema^® UHMWPE is gel spun to produce Dyneema^® fiber and UD sheets. In turn these sheets are produced in mother rolls, which are then cut and boxed for shipping.

The material is produced in Heerlen, the Netherlands; in Greenville, North Carolina, USA; and in Flaach Switzerland. The company is also a partner in ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) manufacturing joint venture in Japan.

Our company policy is to invest in order to meet anticipated worldwide demand. Accordingly, we have more than tripled capacity since 2000, and have recently announced the single biggest investment program in our history.
