Our product development is built on market knowledge and the know-how that only comes from working closely with customers. We base this on three pillars of research excellence.

The Application Development & Technical Support (ADTS) team is an application-focused group that continuously looks at ways of improving product performance.

The Product Development group defines, tests and develops product grades based on customer inputs and internal R&D developments.

The R&D department at DSM Dyneema concentrates on basic research, looking for entirely new products to push performance further.

All three areas work closely to share knowledge and expertise, as well as being plugged into the wealth of research that comes from our parent, DSM - a world leader in performance materials. Furthermore, DSM Dyneema has development agreements with many private corporations, research institutions and universities.
